Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer based in Low Marnham, NG23. The role demands hands-on mechanical work, PPM delivery, and the ability to work either days or nights within a 4 on 4 off pattern.

You will support production, maintain assets, and drive continuous improvements while adhering to safety and environmental standards. The successful candidate will be apprentice trained or have a mechanical background with a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and responsibilities.
• Experience in manufacturing/process environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with production to maximise site asset utilisation.
• Maintain site equipment for maximum effectiveness.
• Assist with development of new manufacturing methods and continuous improvement.
• Drive energy and utility cost savings while meeting demands.
• Collaborate cross-functionally for consistent continuous improvement.
• Ensure all work complies with Standard Operating Procedures and CMMS (Holistech).
• Complete relevant statutory documentation.
