Job summary

The Sterling Choice is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer for a well-established FMCG manufacturer to keep production running and improve equipment reliability. You’ll be part of a supportive team with opportunities for development.

You will carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and lead continuous improvement projects, working closely with production to maintain peak performance. A proactive, collaborative engineer will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent).
• Experience in FMCG, food, packaging or manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work well within a close-knit engineering team.

What We're Looking For
