Qualifications

• Proven experience in planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Previous experience in mechanical engineering and building services.
• Full clean driving license.

Job description

Mechanical Engineer

Location: Westminster, London

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 9am - 6pm

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

The successful candidate will have proven experience in planned preventative and reactive maintenance. Primary responsibilities include:

1. Performing work on mechanical systems such as plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems; assisting with building fabric and electrical systems
2. Maintaining assets following a PPM schedule and ensuring compliance efficiently
3. Managing reactive tasks from diagnosis to completion, including sourcing parts
4. Responding promptly to reactive call-outs, working safely and in accordance with the relevant Codes of Practice
5. Collaborating with various parties, including subcontractors, to deliver high standards of work

• City & Guilds or equivalent NVQ in mechanical engineering
