Job summary

Alice Rose Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Mechanical / HVAC Engineer for a landmark commercial development in Shoreditch. The role involves maintaining and optimising HVAC systems on a static site with a Monday-Friday schedule and a £47,500 salary.

You'll work within a skilled team, carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, fault finding and servicing chillers, AHUs and FCUs. The position offers overtime, a company pension and ongoing technical training.

Qualifications

• Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3) is required.
• Valid F-Gas Certification is required.
• Strong background in commercial building services maintenance.
• Experience maintaining chillers, split systems and HVAC plant.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
• Proactive approach and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
• Respond to reactive maintenance and fault finding.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems in a modern commercial building.
• Service chillers, split systems and associated plant.
• Carry out maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors.
• Monitor BMS alarms and investigate faults.
• Complete maintenance reports and logbooks.
• Escort specialist subcontractors when required.
• Ensure statutory compliance and health & safety standards are maintained.

The Role

Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and fault finding across a modern commercial building, ensuring all mechanical and HVAC systems operate efficiently.
