Job summary

South West Water, part of Pennon Group, is looking for a Mechanical Craftsperson to maintain and repair water treatment assets, pumping stations and reservoirs, ensuring a reliable service for communities.

You will carry out reactive maintenance, fabricate parts, provide replacement specifications and support safety with RAMS; standby/call-out rota is included.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in a relevant technical discipline.
• Full RAMS understanding to deliver safe maintenance.
• Experience with Waste Water treatment processes is desirable.
• Ability to fault find and repair large mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment
• Manufacture and fabricate parts and equipment
• Provide detailed specifications for replacement parts
• Assist operational teams with complex problem-solving
• Ensure safety compliance using method statements and RAMS
• Participate in standby/call-out rota

As a Mechanical Craftsperson, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our water treatment assets, pumping stations, and reservoirs.
