Job summary

Kier-led water infrastructure programme is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work across the Thames Valley and surrounding areas on water and wastewater projects. The role covers MEICA installation, commissioning, pumps, pipework and equipment, with opportunities in permanent or contract arrangements and a competitive day rate depending on experience.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will review drawings, liaise with subcontractors and site teams, and help deliver safe, on-time projects

Qualifications

• Experience in water/wastewater and MEICA projects.
• Ability to work across Thames Valley and surrounding areas.
• Knowledge of pumps, valves, pipework and process equipment.

EXCITING WATER SECTOR OPPORTUNITY - PERMANENT & CONTRACT OPTIONS AVAILABLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a major Kier-led water infrastructure programme, working across the Thames Valley and surrounding areas.

With significant investment being made across the UK water sector, this is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to become involved in major water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment works upgrades, process improvements, pumping systems, mechanical installations and commissioning.

Central location: Thames Valley / Oxfordshire

Projects across: Oxford, Swindon, Reading & Harpenden

Permanent or Contract: Both options available

Contract: Attractive day rate available - dependent on experience

The Opportunity

The successful Mechanical Engineer will work as part of a multidisciplinary project team, supporting the delivery of major water and wastewater schemes.
