The role sits in a small team focused on reviewing and consolidating engineering documentation for a large portfolio of electromechanical products.
You will work closely with design, manufacturing and engineering teams, gaining exposure to product design, risk assessments, testing and lifecycle documentation.

The role is based in Bedford. There will be regular time spent with the engineering and manufacturing teams, although some flexibility around remote working will be available depending on project requirements.

As part of a major engineering programme, the business is investing in strengthening and updating the technical documentation, compliance records and supporting engineering evidence across a large and varied product portfolio.

You'll work directly alongside experienced design engineers, technical specialists and compliance professionals, gaining exposure to: Product design, Engineering drawings, Bills of materials, CE / UKCA compliance Machinery safety, Risk assessments, Testing and validation and Product lifecycle management
