Job Details

Company based in Alresford, Hampshire

Salary: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Hours: Full time: Mon-Thurs 8-5, Fri 8-3

We are working for a well-established manufacturer of precision instruments. Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit individuals to join their busy manufacturing team in Alresford.

The products involve assembly work, sometimes using hand tools, requiring a keen eye for detail, manual dexterity, and accuracy to maintain quality.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a production environment, particularly in light mechanical or electromechanical assembly. Candidates should be physically fit for manual assembly tasks and possess the following attributes:

• Good manual dexterity
• Good attention to detail
• Good eyesight (with glasses if worn)
• Driven by quality and customer satisfaction
• Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
• Self-motivated
• Positive and reliable

Role Responsibilities

• Final assembly of products for delivery using hand tools
• Managing sub-assembly production
• Scheduling and prioritising customer orders
• Quality checking, packing, and handling shipping logistics
• Maintaining an organised and tidy workspace
• Assisting the Operations Manager in managing stock
