Rolls-Royce is recruiting a Mechanical/Electrical Fitter in Winsford for hands-on maintenance and repair across rail, switchboard manufacture and diesel-powered generation systems. Qualifications

Completed a recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent experience).
Experience working on diesel engines or electrical systems in a service or MRO environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit, goal-focused team.
Good communication and documentation skills in a regulated environment.
Hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Mechanically assemble switchboards for a major programme.
Disassemble, inspect, clean, test and reassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies to strict standards.
Work with diesel power rail power packs.
Collaborate with team leads to ensure quality, delivery, and cost expectations are met.
Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and shop floor efficiency.
