Job summary

Magnera is seeking a skilled Mechnical / Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. You will maintain and improve the reliability of our manufacturing equipment, facilities, and support systems in a fast-paced production environment.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, use CMMS to record work, and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Completed a recognised Mechanical/Electrical or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.
• Strong fault-finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and plant services.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults efficiently.
• Support production by responding quickly to breakdowns and minimising downtime.
• Use the CMMS maintenance system to record work, manage activities, and improve asset reliability.
