Position: Mechanical Draughtsperson

Location: Castle Donington - 3 Days On site

Contract: Outside IR35

Type: Full-Time

The Role

This is a contract role expected to last between 6 - 12 months with the successful candidate working to trouble shoot and refine an existing complex drawing library using NX. This will involve checking and correcting GD&T data, team centre structure and validity of BOM information.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs and drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to create accurate and efficient models.
• Ensure all designs meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain and update CAD libraries and documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

• HNC or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in NX software.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• High level of accuracy in drawings and documentation
• Ability to spot and correct errors in technical plans
• Good communication skills with the ability to work in a small team as a self-starter.
