Job summary

Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology is seeking a Mechanical Designer for our Bristol facility. You will develop new products and improve lifecycle management of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, collaborating with designers, process engineers and operations teams to solve complex engineering challenges.

You will create 3D models, perform verifications, and ensure compliance with industry standards while contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in relevant discipline (preferred).
• HNC or equivalent accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver component and device conception and design; create 3D models and drawings.
• Carry out design verification and validation via calculation, simulation and prototype testing.
• Ensure compliance with BS, EN and Semi standards.
