Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited in Enstone offers a 1-year Mechanical Design Student Placement starting July 2027. You’ll contribute to CAD modelling, produce technical drawings, and support design reviews to ensure performance, manufacturability and regulatory compliance.

You should be studying Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or Motorsport Engineering in your penultimate year, with CAD experience and a passion for motorsport.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals
• Experience with CAD software
• Familiarity with design for manufacture and mechanical systems
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
• You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September

As a Mechanical Design Student Placement, you’ll be part of a team that transforms engineering concepts into race-ready solutions.**The Role**During your placement, you’ll support the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies across the car.
