You will create detailed 3D CAD drawings, generate BOMs and support development of mechanical components for bespoke automation projects. A varied, technically interesting role with long-term career prospects in an established business.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design for automation projects.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed engineering drawings using 3D CAD software.
• Generate bills of materials, general arrangements and manufacturing drawings.
• Assist with the design and development of mechanical components and systems.
• Support drawing releases, design changes and document control.
• Work on bespoke automation projects, jigs, fixtures and robot tooling.
