Job summary

Our Client in the South Central UK is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on new projects, generating detailed drawings and BOMs. You will lead concept, detail, assembly and production designs, perform design calculations and analyses, and collaborate with colleagues and customers to develop practical mechanical solutions.

Ideal candidates will be degree qualified with about five years' experience, with exposure to castings, mouldings, machined components, gear and motor design, and

• Experience of castings, mouldings, machined components, gear design, motor design and assembly techniques.

Responsibilities

• Generate detailed drawings and BOMs.

Our Client, a leading and well-respected Manufacturer is looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer, to work on new projects and generate detailed drawings and BOMs. Principally based on the South Coast, the role will involve conducting concept, detail, assembly and production designs, design calculations and analysis, as well as working with colleagues and customers to overcome technical challenges and develop practical and innovative mechanical designs.

Ideal applicants will be degree qualified and have 5 years experience, they will also have experience of castings, mouldings, Machined components, gear design, motor design and assembly techniques.

Salary £30K - £35K + additional benefits
