Job summary

Our Client in the South Central UK is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on new projects, generating detailed drawings and BOMs. You will lead concept, detail, assembly and production designs, perform design calculations and analyses, and collaborate with colleagues and customers to develop practical mechanical solutions.

Ideal candidates will be degree qualified with about five years' experience, with exposure to castings, mouldings, machined components, gear and motor design, and

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with 5 years' experience.
• Experience of castings, mouldings, machined components, gear design, motor design and assembly techniques.

Responsibilities

• Generate detailed drawings and BOMs.
• Conduct concept, detail, assembly and production designs.
• Perform design calculations and analysis.
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to overcome technical challenges and develop practical and innovative mechanical designs.
