Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in Milton Keynes is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of systems interfacing powertrain units with test facilities, enabling evaluation against verification criteria. You will model assemblies, perform engineering analysis, and drive fault resolution to deliver peak performance.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or Physics and strong NX CAD capabilities, with a focus on mechanical, fluid, and thermal analysis.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver mechanical design projects and lead cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under tight timelines.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of systems interfacing PU (ICE, ERS, ESS, Turbo) with test facilities.
• Drive fault resolution activities and assess non-conformance and concessions.
• Collaborate with Test Design Team and broader RBPT to maximize performance.
