Job summary

Personnel Selection is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for our site in Yateley. You will design and develop mechanical components for advanced maritime defence systems, creating 3D models and precise drawings to BS8888, and coordinating prototype parts with suppliers.

You should have 4+ years in product development or design, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks/Inventor), and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a defence setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with design and development of mechanical products.
• Ability to interpret and produce engineering drawings to BS8888.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical tasks including modelling and drawings and order prototype parts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain workflow and deliver high-quality drawings for defence projects.
