Job summary

Konker in Manchester is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on data centre projects in the Oldham/Manc area. You will contribute to the full lifecycle from tender and concept through detailed design and construction, delivering high-quality mechanical systems.

The role offers real responsibility, with ownership of mechanical design and opportunities to lead projects. You'll engage with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to develop robust, energy-efficient building services

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering.
• Data Centre experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong mechanical design skills with a proven project deliverable track record.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design across tender to construction stages.
• Own and potentially lead mechanically biased projects.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
