Job summary

True Engineers is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for data centre projects with a focus on mechanical building services and MEP systems. The position is hybrid and based in North Kent, offering exposure to challenging data centre design work.

You will contribute to the detailed design, calculations, and documentation while collaborating with a friendly team of engineers on project delivery and site meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree / HND / HNC in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Design experience in mechanical building systems.
• Previous data centre design experience is essential.
• Confident user of industry standard software.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in the full cycle of projects from client briefs and planning, though to design and supervision and finally completion.
• Carrying out the detailed mechanical services design and calculations.
• Production/writing of mechanical specifications, schedules, reports and technical papers.
• Attend a wide range of meetings from client, design team and site.

This role is to join an established building services design consultancy, where you will be focused on the design of data centre projects.

Responsibilities
