Job summary

Nikkiso Cryoquip is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the European division of the Heat Exchanger Group. Reporting to Engineering and GM, you will translate process designs into detailed mechanical concepts for workshop fabrication.

You will perform 2-D drafting in AutoCAD, 3-D modeling in Inventor or SolidWorks, develop BOMs, and prepare P&IDs. Collaboration with project teams and suppliers is essential, with emphasis on accuracy and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Experience with fluid mechanics or pressure vessel design preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID.
• Good communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Realise the process design into a mechanical design ready for workshop.
• Create 2-D drafting in AutoCAD and 3-D models in Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Produce BOMs and manufacturing drawings with detailed assembly instructions.
• Prepare P&ID and basic electrical drawings where required.
• Ensure QA and inspection requirements are planned and met.
• Collaborate with business development on new capabilities and products.
• Assist with costing and ordering of materials.
