Job summary

Nikkiso Cryoquip is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the European division to convert process design into detailed mechanical concepts for fabrication. The role focuses on 2‑D drafting in AutoCAD, 3‑D modeling in Inventor, BOM creation, and supporting P&ID development.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, with 1–2 years of relevant experience; familiarity with fluid mechanics or pressure vessels is advantageous. Strong communication across departments is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering; familiarity with fluid mechanics or pressure vessel design is a plus.
• Strong ability to produce clear, accurate drawings and specifications.
• Excellent cross‑department communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Realise process designs into mechanical designs suitable for workshop release.
• Create 2‑D drawings (AutoCAD) and 3‑D models (Inventor/SolidWorks).
• Prepare BOMs, P&IDs, and basic electrical drawings when required.
• Ensure QA, inspection, and manufacturing drawings meet required standards.
