Job summary

NIKKISO CRYOQUIP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the European division to transform process designs into robust mechanical solutions for heat exchangers and related equipment. You will draft 2-D and model 3-D components, select parts, and create assembly and manufacturing drawings in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include BOM creation, P&ID preparation, basic electrical drawings, and supporting cost estimation.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Fluid mechanics or pressure vessel knowledge is a plus.
Proficiency with electrical schematics and P&ID is helpful.
Attention to detail with the ability to produce clear drawings and specifications.
Strong communication across departments and teams.
Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Translate process design into manufacturable mechanical designs for workshop release.
Create 2-D drawings in AutoCAD and 3-D models in Inventor or SolidWorks.
Select mechanical components and prepare supporting documentation.
Design skid structures and piping supports; issue assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
Prepare BOMs and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
Assist with costing and material purchasing; support QA and inspections.
