Job summary

CIBSE Journal in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and modify bespoke mechanical equipment, taking projects from concept through to manufacturing. You’ll work with 3D CAD, model assemblies and contribute to hands-on testing in a day-based schedule.

The role requires hands-on assembly and experience with hand tools, machine tools or CNC equipment, with commutable access from nearby towns. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and modifying bespoke mechanical equipment.
• Ability to produce 3D CAD drawings and engineering drawings.
• Hands-on assembly, modification and testing experience.
• Willingness to work Monday–Friday 8:30–16:30.
