Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for an opportune role in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. This position involves the design and development of bespoke mechanical equipment from concept through to manufacturing.

You will work with CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks) and participate in hands-on assembly and testing. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8.30am–4.30pm, with training and progression opportunities and a strong emphasis on quality and project

Qualifications

• Mechanical design / CAD experience
• Hands-on mechanical assembly skills
• Experience with hand tools, machine tools or CNC equipment
• Commutable to Hemel Hempstead

Mechanical Design Engineer

Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (Commutable from: Watford, St Albans, Luton, Hatfield, Harpenden, Berkhamsted, Aylesbury)

£35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Benefits

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience in both Design and Assembly / Machining looking to Technically develop across a range of skillsets whilst working on Projects from Cradle to Grave?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Specialist, International company who offer clear training, good progression, long-term job stability and have a great retention rate.

The company are a Multi-million pound manufacturer of scientific and laboratory based equipment. They supply blue chip clients and are continuing to grow.

This is a Monday - Friday days based role out of their high tech HQ. You will be involved with the initial Design, Conceptualisation through to Manufacturing whilst supporting some Mechanical assembly and CNC Machining.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software, alongside practical mechanical assembly experience. With continued growth in these areas this will allow you to progress your career into Project Management.

The Role:
