Job summary

Black Cat Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a fast-growing Facilities Management and MEP Projects company operating across the UK. The role centers on building services design, using CAD tools to develop layouts, pipework, and ducting in collaboration with project teams.

You will carry out mechanical design within the construction sector, produce layout drawings (Above Ground Drainage, Heating, Cooling, Domestic Services, Ventilation) and perform sizing

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering qualifications required.
• Experience with building services design in construction.
• Familiar with CAD tools for layout and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical design within the construction industry.
• Produce layout drawings (A/G drainage, heating, cooling, domestic services, ventilation).
• Perform pipe and duct sizing calculations and ensure compliance with regs.
