Job summary

Roundhouse recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for building services in the UK. You will own detailed mechanical designs, work across HVAC and BIM projects, and develop Revit/AutoCAD models within a specialist engineering team.

Based in Manchester/Stockport with hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 days at home), the role offers clear progression into senior and management positions and a share scheme as part of a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical Design, Building Services or BIM Design.
• Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Background in HVAC, Building Services, MEP or pipework.
• Able to commute to Manchester/Stockport twice weekly.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed mechanical and digital engineering designs.
• Work on complex fluid and heat transfer systems.
• Develop BIM, Revit and CAD models for specialist projects.
• Coordinate designs with project delivery teams.
• Produce construction and manufacturing drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with standards and regulations.
