Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment Ltd seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer for a hybrid role in Manchester/Stockport. You will produce detailed mechanical and digital designs for HVAC/building services projects, developing BIM, Revit and CAD models and coordinating with delivery teams.

The position offers 2 days in the office and 3 days from home, with progression into management and specialist projects. Competitive package with pension and share options is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical Design, Building Services or BIM Design.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Background in HVAC, Building Services, MEP, Pipework or similar.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed mechanical and digital engineering designs.
• Work across complex fluid and heat transfer systems.
• Develop BIM, Revit and CAD models for specialist engineering projects.
• Coordinating designs with project delivery teams.
• Producing construction and manufacturing drawings.
• Ensuring designs comply with technical and regulatory standards.
