Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment in Manchester is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our leading aquatic engineering team. The role offers hybrid working (2 office days, 3 home days) and progression into senior roles on specialist projects across fluid and heat transfer systems.

You will own designs from concept to completion, develop BIM/REVIT/CAD models, and coordinate with delivery teams while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical Design, Building Services or BIM Design.
• Experience using Revit, AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Background in HVAC, Building Services, MEP, Pipework or similar.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed mechanical and digital engineering designs.
• Work across complex fluid and heat transfer systems.
• Develop BIM, Revit and CAD models for specialist engineering projects.
• Coordinating designs with project delivery teams.
• Producing construction and manufacturing drawings.
• Ensuring designs comply with technical and regulatory standards.
