A Great opportunity to join an innovative and environmentally ethical company as a Mechanical Design Engineer .As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead design projects and contribute to the development of new and existing products.

This role is onsite, and offers flexibility in working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, if the weekly 40 hours are completed the working pattern can be at your discretion.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer include:

• Lead and mentor the design team, ensuring project timelines and technical goals are met
• Utilise SolidWorks to create 3D models and technical drawings for various vessel components and systems
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to refine designs and support production
• Focus on designing sustainable, zero-emission vessels and improving production efficiencies

Requirements of the Mechanical Design Engineer include:

• Proven experience in mechanical design, ideally within marine or heavy fabrication industries
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and related CAD software
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a passion for sustainability
