Job summary

CDM Recruitment Ltd is partnering with established M&E Building Services consultancies and contractors in Newcastle upon Tyne to recruit experienced Mechanical Building Services Design Engineers for Industrial & Manufacturing projects.

You will design HVAC and mechanical systems, produce calculations, drawings and reports, coordinate with other disciplines, ensure compliance with standards and provide technical support. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.

We are currently working with a number of established M&E Building Services consultancies and contractors who are looking to recruit experienced Mechanical Building Services Design Engineers.

These opportunities are working across a variety of sectors, including:

Industrial & Manufacturing

We are looking for engineers with a strong background in mechanical building services design, with experience across HVAC, heating, ventilation, cooling and associated mechanical systems.

• Producing calculations, specifications, drawings and reports
• HVAC and mechanical systems design
• Coordinating with other disciplines and project stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Providing technical support throughout projects
• Supporting value engineering and sustainable design initiatives
• Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Proven experience within mechanical building services design
• Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems
• Good technical and communication skills
• Experience within specialist or technically complex projects would be beneficial
