Our Manchester-based engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical building services design from concept to completion on high-profile projects. You’ll work on HVAC and public health systems, perform calculations and specifications, and support BIM coordination with client meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design

Your new role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects from concept through to completion. You'll work on HVAC and public health systems, produce technical calculations and specifications, support BIM coordination, attend client meetings, and assist with site inspections and commissioning activities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience within Mechanical Design.
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of software such as IES and Revit.
• Understanding of UK building regulations and engineering standards.
