Job summary

Une entreprise cherche plusieurs Ingénieurs Conception Mécanique pour des projets de défense. Le rôle implique la création de modèles 3D et de dessins 2D, avec des exigences de qualification HNC/ONC. Ce poste propose un mode de travail hybride, nécessitant des déplacements dans le Nord-Ouest.

Qualifications

• Expérience avec des systèmes mécaniques en 2D/3D, notamment HVAC ou Piping.
• Connaissance des normes d'ingénierie au niveau des composants.
• Expérience dans des secteurs à haut risque comme l'Oil & Gas ou l'Aéronautique appréciée.

Responsibilities

• Produire des modèles 3D de circuits de tuyauterie et d'agencements de compartiments.
• Réaliser des dessins 2D.
• Travailler en collaboration pour l'intégration des systèmes mécaniques.

Skills

Understanding of CAD toolsets

Knowledge of Mechanical routed systems

Experience in Mechanical Compartment Integration

Education

HNC / ONC level or degree qualification in a relevant STEM subject

Copello are now looking for several Mechanical Design Engineers on behalf of a Defence Prime, who are delivering on current gen and next-gen programmes.

This role does offer a generous hybrid working pattern, with travel to the North West being mandatory.

As a Mechanical Designer, the role will involve producing 3D models of Piping routes, Mechanical compartment arrangements, and HVAC systems using AutoCAD. Responsibilities also include producing 2D drawings.

Skills and experience

• Understanding of CAD toolsets such as SolidWorks & Siemens in both 2D and 3D.
• HNC / ONC level or degree qualification in a relevant STEM subject.
• Knowledge of Mechanical routed systems in 2D/3D, specifically HVAC or Piping.
• Experience in Mechanical Compartment Integration / Room Integration and/or Engineering Standards at the Component / Equipment level.

Our client would also consider applications with experience in other high-hazard industries, such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Aerospace, Maritime, and Automotive.
