Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in a mechanical design role, ideally in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Skilled in 3D Modelling software such as Revit, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
• Experience in fabrication design.

Reporting to the Design Manager, you’ll work on varied and challenging projects for some of the world’s leading brands. The Role:

• Design mechanical systems for projects in accordance with client specifications
• Develop Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using Plant 3D
• Create and coordinate 3D models using Revit
• Produce general arrangement drawings, sections, elevations, and fabrication detail drawings
• Perform pump calculations, equipment schedules, and write technical specifications
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and technical input
• Prepare technical submissions for client review
• Attend regular project design and site meetings
• Comply with ISO Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety procedures

The Person:

• Minimum HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years’ experience in a mechanical design role, ideally in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Skilled in 3D Modelling software such as Revit, Inventor, or SolidWorks
• Experience in fabrication design
