FJA is working with a reputable and forward-thinking business, specializing in the Water and Wastewater Industry.

Mechanical Design Engineer Role:

You will report directly to the Engineering Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce outline and detailed electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation designs that are cost-effective and meet client specifications.
• Produce and check all design specifications, schedules, drawings, and calculations.
• Ensure designs comply with CDM Regulations.
• Utilize standard designs and practices where possible.
• Deliver design outputs within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Coordinate design outputs across all technical disciplines.
• Prepare monthly project status reports.
• Establish relationships with construction staff and supply chain to promote buildability and efficiency.

About the Candidate:

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Chartered in a relevant construction discipline.
• Experience in the Water Treatment Industry.
• Knowledge of CDM and Construction Health & Safety.
