Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a permanent role in Birmingham. You will design and develop mechanical components using 3D CAD, with SolidWorks preferred, and produce detailed models and manufacturing drawings on-site.

The position covers work across marine and related industries, requiring strong maths and physics understanding and the ability to present designs to customers. You will liaise with suppliers and R&D teams while maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
• Strong 3D CAD modelling experience (SolidWorks preferred, others considered).
• Strong understanding of maths, physics, and engineering principles.

Responsibilities
