Job summary

Ninewells-based Maintenance Specialist - Mechanical Decontamination in NHS National Services Scotland is a permanent, full‑time role within the Property Department (Estates Division). The post requires a trained professional to provide decontamination services and maintain related equipment, with regular travel to other sites within Tayside.

The ideal candidate will hold an Apprenticeship, HNC/ONC, City & Guilds or SVQ/NVQ with relevant experience and be prepared to join an on‑call rota.

Qualifications

• Recognised Apprenticeship, HNC/ONC, City & Guilds or SVQ/NVQ with relevant experience.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and travel between NHS sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mechanical Decontamination/Disinfection/Sterilization services.
• Install, repair and maintain Mechanical/Decontamination equipment.
• Ensure smooth operation of Mechanical/Decontamination systems within the organisation.
