Hays has been retained by one of Northern Ireland's leading M&E Contractors to recruit a Mechanical Contracts Manager. A leading specialist in the Building Services industry with clients across the commercial, education, healthcare, and residential sectors throughout the UK and Ireland.
Your new role
As Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will ensure that each contract is run efficiently and profitably, in line with client expectations. This will involve the day-to-day management of mechanical, HVAC, and building services projects with direct responsibility for contract delivery planning, programming of works, carrying out site meetings, procurement of labour and materials, and project handover.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have proven previous experience in a mechanical contracts management role. You must also be able to demonstrate your experience in the full management and delivery cycle of large mechanical contracts. Ideally, you will have an HNC or Higher Qualification in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering or a Mechanical Trades qualification. There will be some flexibility required regarding GB travel, typically 2-3 days per week.
