Job summary

Michael Taylor Search & Selection is seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager for a West London rail project. The role oversees subcontractor labour, RFI handling, RAMS reviews, and snagging, with responsibility for health and safety across the site.

A strong mechanical background and rail project experience are essential. You will drive design reviews, testing and commissioning, ensuring timely delivery and quality across all disciplines.

Qualifications

Experience in rail sector.
Managed projects up to £2M within own discipline.
Progressed from a tools background with strong mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Role: Mechanical Construction Manager

Location: West London

Project: Rail

Salary: £80,000 + Travel Expenses + £5000 Car Allowance + Pension + Healthcare + 10% Bonus.

Client: With a portfolio of projects in the UK client is recognised as a market leading building services contractor. They are renowned for large fit out and new build projects in rail, commercial office, data centre and public sectors. Clients include major law and financial companies, as well as large blue chip main contractors. After a successful year they are now looking to increase turnover to £400M, consequently they are looking to expand their operations team.
