AtkinsRéalis in London seeks a motivated Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our national practice and contribute to sustainable building design. You will design, model and deliver mechanical systems, collaborating with our BIM team and clients on a variety of sectors.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Mechanical Building Services Engineering with a focus on design quality.
• Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
• Working towards Chartered Membership of a recognised body (CIBSE/IMechE or equivalent).
• Experience with industry software and tools including IES, Hevacomp, Revit, NBS.
• Knowledge of UK codes of practice and energy/carbon data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Undertake design and specification of mechanical building services from concept to detailed design.
• Carry out detailed calculations using industry tools such as Excel, IES, Hevacomp, MEPworx.
• Prepare technical specifications, design reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with BIM team to develop models and drawings using Revit.
• Represent AtkinsRéalis in client meetings and with other professionals.
• Conduct condition surveys, inspections, and monitor installation/commissioning activities.
• Manage workload to deliver high-quality work within deadlines and budgets.
