Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in London seeks a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a national delivery team delivering engineering design solutions across sectors. You will work on projects with exposure to commercial, education and healthcare clients while developing your design and digital capabilities.

The role offers opportunities to lead design tasks, collaborate with the BIM team and interact with clients, supported by a national practice of Building Services professionals.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working towards Chartered Membership (CIBSE/IMechE) with commitment to PD.
• Experience with industry-standard software such as IES, Hevacomp, Revit, NBS, MEPworx.
• Knowledge of UK technical standards and decarbonisation principles.
• Experience in mechanical building services design for various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design and specification of mechanical building services from concept to detailed design.
• Perform calculations using Excel, IES, Hevacomp and MEPworx.
• Prepare technical specifications and design reports for project delivery.
• Collaborate with BIM team to develop models and drawings in Revit.
• Support client meetings and project coordination.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentor junior staff.
