Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician in Stockport for a permanent role. You will work 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri) at a salary of £33,155 - £35,760 per year, with a £1,000 sign-on bonus after probation and a generous benefits package.

Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality assembly, pre-delivery testing, site attendance for commissioning and training, and meeting production deadlines. Employee engagement days and pension contributions are part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly of sub and main assemblies.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Able to carry out repairs and servicing of equipment.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our brilliant client in Stockport for a Mechanical Assembly Technician. This is a permanent job with incredible benefits, such as regular employee engagement days, annual pay reviews, skills matrix & a handsome pension contribution. Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday and paying £33,155 - £35,760 per annum, depending on your experience. There is also a significant starting bonus on offer.

Duties will include:

• Ensure assembly and build quality is of optimum standard.
• Ensure machinery is of optimum quality and working standard prior to delivery.
• Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
• Working to deadlines and delivery dates.
• Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
• On-site commissioning and customer training.

You will need to be:

• Experienced in being responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Able to carry out repairs, and servicing of all equipment.
• Proficient in general engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.
• Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.
