Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician in Stroud to join a workshop-based team. You will assemble and install mechanical components, work with pumps, valves and pipes, and perform fault checks to keep systems running smoothly.

The role offers a base around £35,000 with £40,000–£42,000 OTE, plus a bonus, overtime, progression pathways and an early finish on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical fitting/maintenance or similar.
• Able to work in a workshop environment near Stroud.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics or pipe bending is preferred.

Responsibilities

Do you have a Mechanical Fitting/Maintenance background or similar looking for a workshop based position with an expanding business providing a personal development plan and multiple routes of progression, access to regular overtime and a generous bonus scheme?

This is a hands on role static you'll help build, install, and maintain bespoke equipment within the mechanical division. You'll work with tools to assemble parts like pumps, valves, and pipes. Your job will also include checking systems for any faults, carrying out repairs, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

This role would suit someone with a background in pneumatics, Hydraulics, pipe bending or similar looking to join a company that will providing training to upskill ad offer multiple pathways of progression.
