Job summary

Artemis Clarke Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join the production team near Maidstone, Kent. You will build high quality units for marine, vehicle and off-grid applications, ranging from single assemblies to production line builds.

Ideal candidates have hands-on assembly experience, good attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight production deadlines while maintaining safety standards. The role is temporary for 8–12 weeks, with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical assembly experience using hand tools.
• Able to follow drawings/works orders and maintain quality standards.
• Good safety awareness and attention to detail.

Location: Near Maidstone, Kent (New Hythe / Larkfield)
Hours: 40 hour standard working week – 8/8.30am to 4.30/5pm, Monday to Friday
Rate: From £14.50 per hour, PAYE, paid weekly in arrears via React
Contract: Temporary, 8–12 weeks
