Job summary

React Recruitment Ltd is assisting in-hiring for a Mechanical Assembler role near Maidstone, Kent. This is a temp 8-12 week assignment assembling high quality units across marine, vehicle and off-grid sectors, using hand tools as part of a production team.

The position is 40 hours per week with shifts around 8:00–16:30 or 8:30–17:00. Pay is £14.50 per hour PAYE, weekly in arrears, with formal emphasis on safety and quality throughout the build process.

Job description

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler – temp 8-12 weeks.

Rate: From £14.50 ph, PAYE, via React, weekly in arrears

Location: Near Maidstone, Kent

Hours: 40 hour standard working week - 8/8.30am – 4.30/5pm, Monday to Friday

The role of the Mechanical Assembler is working as part of the production teambuilding high quality units for clients across the marine, vehicle and off grid sectors. This will include work from one-off assemblies to production line builds which will require a range of skills from the candidates who apply.

Suitable Mechanical Assembler personnel will possess the following skills and attributes:
