Job description

We are working with a leading engineering manufacturer in Scarborough known for producing high-quality equipment within a high demand industry.

They are looking for a panel wirer to join the team on a 3-month temporary assignment to assist with an exciting new project.

As a panel wirer, you will be expected to:

1. Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
2. Assemble and wire control panels and associated electrical components
3. Work on bespoke industrial equipment
4. Ensure all work is carried out to high safety and quality standards

To be suitable for the panel wirer role, you must have:

1. Previous experience as a panel wirer
2. Good technical knowledge and the ability to read technical drawings
3. Good eye for detail and ability to work as part of a team

The role offers:

• Great working hours: Mon-Thu 7am-5:30pm
• Long weekends every weekend with Fridays off - plenty of overtime
• Competitive pay between £17-20 per hour
• 3 months work with the possibility to go permanent for the right candidate
