Job summary

Interaction - York is hiring a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic in Milton Keynes. You will conduct vehicle inspections, complete used vehicle condition reports and report findings via the PDA template.

You will travel to BCA sites within your region, with occasional longer trips. Requires NVQ Level 2 (light vehicle maintenance), full UK driving licence, and knowledge of diagnostics; hourly pay £13.99 with an OTE around £35k.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (light vehicle maintenance) or equivalent.
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics and software updates; electric/hybrid knowledge advantageous.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to interact at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence.

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

£13.99 per hour (£30,917.90k annually) plus bonus (OTE around £35k)

Hours - 8.15am-5.45pm Wednesday to Sunday OR Saturday to Wednesday

As a Vehicle Inspector, you'll be responsible for:

• Conducting vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template
• Complete used vehicle condition reports
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery
• Travel to various BCA sites within your agreed region will be regular, however, travel to further distances will be expected if and when needed

What we're looking for

To excel in this role, you must have:

• An NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• An understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous)
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• A full UK driving licence
