Salary: Up to £38K (DOE)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

The Role

As a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician, you will perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on modern cars.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles
• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults
• Replace timing belts and clutches
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues
• Test drive vehicles post-repair
• Explain vehicle conditions clearly to customers
• Maintain accurate records and job cards
• Keep the workshop environment clean and safe

About You - What We're Looking For

Key Skills & Experience

We're seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic, and reliable mechanic with a passion for cars and delivering excellent service.

Must Have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in vehicle maintenance & repair
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Good timekeeping and organizational skills
• Your own tools

Desirable:

• Experience with timing belts & clutches
• Experience with Hunter four-wheel alignment systems
