Mobile Vehicle Technician (Known internally as Service, Maintenance and Repair Technician)

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic, your role involves covering a defined geographical area, primarily working as a mobile mechanic and supporting safety recall campaigns. There is a clear progression route across all 3 core areas of our SMR division, including Vehicle Inspection Service.

Requirements for a Mobile Mechanic:

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
• Practical experience working with different types of light vehicles
• Customer-focused approach
• A full UK driving licence
