Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Paisley is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join Europe’s largest independent dealership group. You will carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard, diagnose faults, and road test vehicles to verify repairs.

A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and a full UK driving licence are required. The role includes performance bonuses, overtime pay, generous holiday (33 days), private healthcare, life assurance, and extensive training through

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience in automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace worn or faulty components.
• Complete DVSA vehicle testing.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are successful.
• Complete all job cards and documentation accurately.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenanceto a high standard.
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Repairing or replacing worn or faulty components.

What we’re looking for from you?

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) and hands-on experience in the automotive industry
• The ability to work to high standards and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Confidence in following written and verbal instructions accurately
• A full UK manual driving licence
